Hi all!
Today just so happens to be my 1 year blog anniversary! YAY
As a special treat I decided to (give myself a huge headache, I mean) re-vamp the site. So if you look at it right now after this post goes up it will be kinda Lame, at least until I remember how I made the layout last time. LOL
I was feeling so special about today, that I went to the library. Always fun!
I checked out a book by Rachel Gibson and then proceeded to the friends of the library alcove where they sell the books. I lost my senses and purchased a good 20 paperbacks. Thankfully they sell for only .25-.50 cents. I successfully snuck them into the house too,(even with my two dogs yapping like I had been gone for YEARS) without Peevie seeing them.
Wouldn't want the husband to freak out about MORE books. He doesn't seem to understand the concept of, never enough! I usually don't find that many in the alcove worth buying. Today was just a rare happenstance.
So one year blogging huh. NOT REALLY. Yes I started this blog a year ago and feel kinda like a fraud, a poser, a dandy....etc. I skipped out at least half the year. But what ever at least we have cause to celebrate!! On that note I am announcing a giveaway! A giveaway you say...YES!
I will be giving away a hardback copy of Debbie Macomber's "There's Something About Christmas". This book will be in large print for those of you who may need it or if you know of others who may need it. I chose to do this in honor of my mother a.k.a the Newsbuffer, since she always complains how hard it is to find the good ones in Large print.
